These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases from soapmallow.com and all workshop bookings with Soapmallow, a brand of The Gifts Artisan Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202610387K), 91 Bencoolen Street, Sunshine Plaza #01-21, Singapore (“Soapmallow”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order or booking a workshop, you agree to these terms.

1. Our products

  • Our soaps are handmade in small batches. Colours, shapes, sizes and scents may vary slightly from the photos, and these small differences are part of their handmade character, not defects.
  • Our soaps are for external use only. Some products look like food or sweets: they are not edible. Keep them out of reach of young children and pets.
  • Please read the ingredient information before use. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, test on a small area first and stop using the product if irritation occurs.

2. Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Singapore dollars (SGD).
  • Payment is made online at checkout through our payment provider (HitPay). Your order is confirmed once payment is received.
  • We try to make sure all prices are correct. If we find a pricing error, we will contact you before processing the order, and you may choose to cancel for a full refund.

3. Custom and bulk orders

Custom orders, wedding favours, party packs and corporate orders are quoted separately. Because they are made specially for you, we may ask for a deposit before production starts, and custom orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once production has begun, unless the items are defective.

4. Delivery and collection

  • Delivery fees and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
  • Delivery times are estimates. We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers or events outside our control.
  • Please check that your delivery address is correct. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address you provided.

5. Returns and refunds

  • If your order arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, contact us at enquiry@soapmallow.com within 7 days of receiving it, with photos. We will replace the item or refund you.
  • For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of used or opened soap products unless they are defective.
  • Approved refunds are made to your original payment method.
  • Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Singapore law, including the Consumer Protection (Fair Trading) Act.

6. Workshops

  • Workshop bookings are confirmed once payment is received. Prices are per participant unless stated otherwise.
  • Cancellations by you: cancel at least 2 weeks (14 days) before the session for a full refund or a transfer to another date. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the session, and no-shows, are not refundable, but you may send someone else in your place.
  • Cancellations by us: if we need to cancel or reschedule a session, we will offer you another date or a full refund.
  • Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may have less time to finish their creation, and the session cannot be extended.
  • Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian where stated, who remains responsible for them during the session.
  • Please tell us about any allergies or skin sensitivities before the session. Participants take part at their own risk, and should follow the instructor’s safety guidance.
  • We may take photos during workshops. We will ask for permission before using any photo in which a participant can be identified.

7. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including photos, designs, text and logos, belongs to Soapmallow. You may not copy or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Soapmallow is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products, website or workshops. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Singapore law.

9. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time you place your order or booking applies.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
